Cyber Essentials Plus Certification
ICT Revolutions are Cyber Essentials Plus certified, this ensures that we take a proactive approach against malicious cyber attacks and demonstrates to our customers that we have taken essential precautions to protect ourselves against cyber attacks.
Cyber Essentials Plus was developed by The Government, who worked closely with the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium (IASME) and the Information Security Forum (ISF) to develop the Cyber Essentials Scheme, a set of basic technical controls to help organisations protect themselves against common security threats. It is considered to be the best first step to a more secure network, protecting from an estimated 80% of cyber security breaches.
With the onset of Covid 19 and the increase in home workers, it was a good opportunity to reassess our remote working practices and ensure that our security remained effective. While we have been certified for some time, the scope of the review increases annually which allowed us to bring additional security measures into effect.
