RETAIN

How long is a RETAIN training course?

This depends on whether you take our hosted LMS or whether you host the content within your own LMS.

Each course varies in duration, most videos are limited to 10 minutes in length to keep them bitesize, quick and easy to access around other work commitments. Our RETAIN e-learning courses are self-paced meaning delegates can work through them in their own time, repeating exercises and taking as many breaks as required.

Our Quick Start Liquidlogic courses are made up 10 distinct modules and are designed so that the whole course can easily be completed within 90 minutes if required.

Can you produce bespoke courses?

We have produced many bespoke courses for customers over the years. This allows us to cover specific business processes, detail specific roles within the local authority and their responsibilities on the case management system, it also allows us to produce the course content using your local configuration and we can include local authority branding and logos too.

Can you host the courses for us?

We can host RETAIN courses for you through our very own Learning Management System (LMS).

Alternatively if you have your own LMS, we can provide you with the contents to upload the materials to your own systems, the choice is yours.

What courses are available?

We have a wide range of courses available; we offer Quick Start courses on many social care, education and finance applications, and these are designed to give new starters the basic skills they need to start using the system.

Other courses we offer cover Manager’s Tasks, workflow processes and more in-depth courses.

We have also produced bespoke courses for many customers that go into detail on specific business processes, covering case pathways within Liquidlogic and ContrOCC systems or customer portals.

Which systems do you have courses for?

We have a wide range of courses available right now, some of our most popular courses are the Induction and Manager's Tasks courses for a variety of social care, education and finance applications.

We can also produce bespoke courses on any case management or finance systems that you require so get in touch to see how we can help.

How do you keep up to date with all the changes to software applications that you specialise in?

We regularly meet with software suppliers to understand product changes ahead of their release to customers. We also help many customers with application and configuration upgrades so we’re aware of how to implement new functionality and support customers with any bug fixes and hotfixes.

We also attend regional and national user groups and webinars on current topics such as the Care Cap Reforms so that we are involved from the outset.

REVAULT

Can REVAULT take all content from a legacy system?

Yes – REVAULT can archive demographic or setting records, as well as details of all assessment, plans or any other activity from your legacy system(s). This includes records from the legacy database, as well as any attachments that may have been added to the records.

How long does implementation take?

For a system that we’ve archived previously, approximately six months with three rounds of testing from the customer.

For new systems, this may take longer – however we always complete a data discovery exercise with your subject matter experts first, in order to produce a detailed scope and timescales.

What customer resources are required to implement REVAULT?

Customers will be required to provide input at several key stages of implementation:

  • Initial Scoping or Data Discovery – key stakeholders such as performance, systems and subject matter experts will provide input into the scope

  • User Acceptance Testers who are familiar with the legacy system to complete testing. This will be the biggest resource requirement.

  • ICT to manage infrastructure and systems access

Customers may wish to appoint their own project manager for larger projects, to co-ordinate testing and sign-off.

What systems can you replace with REVAULT?

We can replace any system with REVAULT. We’ve previously archived all of the main last-generation social care and finance systems, as well as some bespoke single-use systems.

If a customer wishes to archive a system that we haven’t worked with before, whether it’s for social care case management or a completely different area, we would be delighted to undertake this work.

What ongoing support is available?

Ongoing support for REVAULT includes application support and platform maintenance delivered via a helpdesk, with all tickets managed through Freshdesk and monitored during business hours. This covers the resolution of application issues as well as the ability to log requests for changes. The service also includes application and database upgrades, ensuring the platform remains up to date and fully supported.

REVIEW

What customer resources are required to implement a REVIEW dashboard?

Apart from the initial technical setup, your performance team will be the most involved as they’ll need to complete testing and validate data, as well as manage queries and requests from the business. You may want to use your training resources to support the rollout to end users.

What ongoing support is available?

Support and Maintenance is available with our REVIEW dashboards, this includes:

  • Updates to REVIEW Data Mart to include new functionality & data warehouse changes
  • Updates to documentation
  • Release of new modules and Dashboards as they are developed
Can customers make changes to existing reports or request new ones?

Once installed, REVIEW belongs to the customer so you can update, add or remove elements as you see fit, or alter the branding to match your own. Over time, we’d expect your dashboards to look completely different to how they started – and if we like what you’ve done, we may even ask to take it to share with other customers!

How does implementation work?

Installing, configuring and testing REVIEW is a quick process, once commissioned we can have the Dashboards working almost immediately. Once this is completed, we’ll work with your performance team to ensure that all the dashboards work as they should.

Next, most customers will want to complete user acceptance testing, and validate all of the data, before releasing it to the wider user base. ICT Revolutions will provide support for this. Some local configuration / customisation can be done easily during the UAT phase or pre-live phase

Once released to end users, customers may want to provide training to those new to Power BI, and again we can support this with guidance and eLearning if required.

What are the technical requirements for a REVIEW Dashboard?
  • REVIEW is based upon Microsoft Power BI, so a Pro license is required for each user that will access the dashboards.
  • In addition, customers must be using the relevant LCS or LAS Data Warehouses
  • Power BI Gateway is required to automate data refreshes
  • Sufficient space is required on the local Data Warehouse instance to store the additional REVIEW tables

End User and System Administrator Training

Can we buy a number of days in a year to use as we need?

Yes you can, our services are available to pre-purchase as Service Pack Days, so that you can use as required when you identify an area where we can help deliver or provide support, or temporarily fill a gap in your BAU teams.

Once you have purchased a Service Pack, these days can be called off at any time to meet your needs. We recognise the dynamic nature of this service and work with customers to always provide support as quickly as possible - particularly where an urgent need or support requirement is identified.

Can you offer ad hoc support if we just need a few days to work on something specific?

Yes of course. Every customer’s needs are different and some of the services we provide may just be a couple of days consultancy e.g. building a standalone form, or providing service desk support to cover in-house staff members absence, or even to just talk through options for you to then implement our recommendations without us.

You may not know exactly what you need our help with, we can work with you to put together a plan so you can work out what resources you have in-house and what external support you might need from us.

How is your training delivered?

We can provide classroom based, remote classroom, or e-learning training, or a combination of all 3. We have a wide choice of standard courses, or we can develop something bespoke to your organisation's training needs - perhaps a course that incorporates a bespoke workflow or process that is unique to your local authority.

Can you provide a training needs analysis?

Yes, we can design and deploy a training needs analysis for your organisation, and provide you with valuable analysis that details who and how many people need training, what they need training on, and requirements for training facilities and accessibility needs.

Can you migrate from any source, e.g. Spreadsheets, Access Databases, CSV’s?

Yes we can. As long as the data has some structure and contains a way to identify the individual record, or records that are required, we can extract the relevant data.  The data owner is always consulted so that we understand what must be achieved.
