After completing a BTEC course in computer science at college, Amy's first job was as a software engineer, writing programs for the IBM AS400 using RPG 400 and Progen programming languages. Her job included amending/creating new areas of the Chorus accounts package to suit client’s needs. Whilst working on the Chorus accounting package, and after studying accounts as part of my BTEC course, Amy found that she enjoyed the user facing side of accounts rather than programming and so changed her career to work in a more accounts orientated role.
Amy started working within an accounts-based role 20 years ago as an accounts administrator and have since worked her way up to a managerial role, obtaining her AAT Level 4 in 2019.
Amy has been working for ICT Revolutions since the end of 2021 as finance manager, and her role currently includes accounts, payroll, and HR.
